Gather A’Round BBQ is acquired by Hormal Foods Inc. Candied Bacon is driving force behind 1st Quarter acquisition. Indianapolis, April 1, 2015/Hormal Foods Inc/- Hormal Food Inc. (NYSE:HOR) (“Hormal”), a multinational marketer of consumer-branded food and meat products, announced today a definitive agreement to acquire Gather A’Round BBQ LLC, for an undisclosed sum. Gather A’Round BBQ will continue to have a local presence, but have fully surrendered the Candied Bacon product line to Hormal Foods for production and distribution. GAB’s other BBQ food products are unaffected by this acquisition.
Kevin Greene, owner of Gather A’Round BBQ, will remain an active part of the newly acquired Candied Bacon product line that Hormal Foods will be distributing nationally.
